A student from the Humboldt area was recently recognized at Canadian Western Agribition in Regina.

Grayson Berting of Middle Lake was one of three students to receive a scholarship worth $2,500.

Recipients are those with a history of involvement in Agribition as exhibitors, volunteers, or competitors who are pursuing post-secondary education.

"We raise a herd of purebred black Angus and registered speckle park cattle and we have 11 speckle parks here to show," said Berting of how she participates at Agribition. "I also volunteer for the national 4-H judging on Monday's as a handler for the cattle and I announce the short-term show on Friday's for the last two years and I'm doing it again this year."

Berting is in her third year of Commerce and noted she was pleased to be recognized for her involvement at the show.
