Jean Price a supervisor at the museum was excited to tell us about the new exhibit and event that is taking place there on Saturday afternoon.

"An international collection of insects that belong to local resident Sean Pratchler, and they are on display with Big Bert, who is the Crocodile from Carrot River. Sean's collection consists of butterfly's, beetles, tarantula's, all kinds of creepy-crawlies and cool things."

Price talked about the new exhibit that they have currently on display.

"We are very lucky, Sean is going to come in and talk to us about the collection, and give us a tour through. He knows all sorts of things about the insects on display."

Price tells us more.

"Everything is free, everyone is welcome to come down. We're going to start at 1:30 with the talk and the tour. The craft will follow after that."

The tour will be led by exhibit owner Sean Pratchler a local who collects insects.

He will also be teaching the kids about how to mount insects during the craft after the tour.

This exhibit will be at the museum until September.

It starts at 1:30 at the museum and is free of charge.
