The Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce is set to host the only all candidates forum in the city Wednesday night ahead of the federal election.

Beginning at 7pm in meeting room 3 in the Uniplex, three of the four candidates running in the Carlton Trail-Eagle Creek riding will have five minutes to outline their platforms.

Following that, New Democrat Glenn Wright, Green Party hopeful Lynn Oliphant and Alex Slusar of the Liberals will have equal time to answer five questions previously submitted. They will each have three minutes to answer.

Once the preempted question and answer period is over the candidates will face questions from the floor from the attendees.

Conservative Party candidate Kelly Block will not be attending the forum.

The federal election is on October 19th.
