The Reid-Thompson Public Library was the host of another Summer Reading Club.

The Club had a Canada 150 theme and saw 118 children attend.

Librarian Michael Langhorst explains why they put on this camp every year.

"We like to encourage reading and get the kids away from electronic devices."

He says that there weren't any major changes to this year's club.

"The only change really is that we had higher readings. We had 3370 books read this year, which is an increase from last year."

The camp got underway on June 27 and wrapped up on Wednesday. Every week had a different activity for the kids.
