The City of Humboldt is installing flushing points around the city which is causing water system interruptions for a number of areas.

A Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory is in effect for the areas with work being performed which will help the water mains stay free of sediments and keep the high quality of water in tact.

The areas under the advisory are as follows:

End of 13th Street-The final water testing sample has been submitted; when clear results are received, the PDWA will be lifted.

Telfer Place-The final water testing sample has been submitted; when clear results are received, the PDWA will be lifted.

Flory Place-The final water testing sample has been submitted; when clear results are received, the PDWA will be lifted.

Bence Place-Flushing work and water sampling has not yet started; work will begin the week of November 9, 2015.

Centennial Place-Flushing work and water sampling has not yet started; work will begin the week of November 9, 2015.

Canada Place-A water main break has occurred; crews are completing repairs.  Flushing work and water sampling will begin the week of November 9, 2015.

Affected residents will be notified directly by the City when a PDWA has been lifted.
