A bench crafted of hockey sticks was gifted to the grandparents of the late Parker Tobin.

The Fort MacMurray Oil Barons presented Ron Clarke and John Tobin, Parker's two grandfathers, with a bench made by family friend Brian Hatfield. The Bench was crafted of hockey sticks in Humboldt Broncos colors and was presented during the Oil Barons' season opener on September 14th.

Parker a native of For Macmurray was one of the 16 Humboldt Broncos who passed away on the bus crash on April 6th. "Parker played minor hockey here, his mother sat on our board of directors for 5 years, his father taught school here, and his brother played for the Oil Barons. So we felt a really strong connection to the family said Terry Connors, Director of Operations with the Oil Barons.

The bench will stay at the Casman Center, the home arena of the Oil Barons where Parker's grandfathers have had season tickets for many years.
