For the sixth year, the BHP Billiton Jansen site is running a workplace campaign for the United Way Campaign for Saskatoon and Area.

The campaign gets underway in Jansen on Tuesday with a pancake breakfast.

They are hoping for all employees in the Saskatoon and Jansen offices to jump on board with volunteering in their communities.

The Humboldt Soup Kitchen will be helped out by this campaign as employees prepare and serve food, they are also holding a winter clothing drive.

The Jansen campaign will conclude on October 15th with a comedy night.

Since they began in 2010, over $430,000 has been raised.

BHP hopes to get 100 percent employee participation between the two offices this year.

The United Way works each day to raise funds for different charitable foundations to make changes in communities.
