Wednesday marks St. Brieux based Bourgault Industries' Seeding is Believing Field Day.

The event gives farmers an opportunity to see the 3420 XTC Paralink Hoe Drill and the 3320 QA Paralink Hoe Drill Hi Flotation in action along with the 3720 Independent Coulter Drill in action as well as other Bourgault produced machinery.

Rob Fagnou, a marketing specialist with Bourgault says farmers like seeing what the equipment can do in the field.

"You can talk about it as much as you want but until you actually see it in the field and actually working in real life conditions you can start to gain a better perspective of how this was going to work on your own land."

Fagnou explains more about the agenda for the day.

"The factory tours are going to start at 10am, we are going to run two sessions, at 10am and 11:15. The burger lunch is at noon at the site which is two miles south and one-half mile east of St. Brieux. The field events will start at 1 o'clock."

He says producers will have a chance to compare their independent depth seeding systems, as well as seeing how the independent coulter drills work with the various scrapers.

The event is weather dependent, they suggest registering through your Bourgault dealer.
