Bourgault Idustries in St. Brieux held a Field Day to showcase their products on Wednesday.

The Field day also included a factory tour in the morning.

Rob Fagnou describes how farmers may react from the field day experience.

"I think that they will find it very educational. They'll have a chance to see the equipment in action, be able to talk to representatives from the company and get some first hand information on operation, and also gain quite a bit of insight on fertalizer placement and rates and how it effects crop stands during the agronomy trials."

The Field Day showcased the latest and greatest equipment Bourgault has to offer out in the fields.

Fagnou explains why these Field days are important.

"It's important because we have all of our seeding equipment out all in one location for farmers to see it in action in typical or in this case, wetter conditions."

Fagnou says the future is bright at Bourgault.

"We've actually had a very good spring. Our sales program has come in very well this spring so we are looking at hiring right now. We are going to have a very busy summer, fall and winter."

Along with the factory tour in the morning and equipment demonstration in the afternoon, and agronomy session was held in the late afternoon as well.

Two of the featured pieces of equipment included the 3420 80 ft. paralink drill and 3320 66 ft. Highfloat QDA drill.
