Four Paws Games and Publishing is helping to spearhead an arts and crafts tradeshow style event in the community of Bruno on Saturday.

Four Paws Owner Vickianne Caswell coordinated the event which will cover six hours, she said it's something she's worked at for a little while.

"We wanted to hold an event for the community that was somewhat similar to a 'Words in the Park' but we wanted to include artists, crafts and as much as we could add in. We started small and it sort of expanded due to a lot of the interest."

They will have a couple local authors providing readings, Janice Howden(pictured) and Mary Harelkin Bishop will be on hand.

"Everything coming in will be available for purchase," Caswell continued. "The authors are doing readings and they are planning on selling books after. Everything is available to purchase but if you just want to come out for the day and look around and enjoy the entertainment that's good too."

They will have vendors selling word working and leather working items, crocheted items, home made beauty products, plus all kinds of art work.

A member of the 'Fantastic Four" will be on hand for pictures with kids as well as a craft table.

The SPCA is also helping out with the concession and face painting, plus they will have silent auction items as well to raise money for their new building.

"It's going to be fun for everyone, I think we have something for everyone," Caswell concluded.

The event is going to run from 10 o'clock to 4pm at the Community Hall.
