When they heard the word of the April 6th Broncos bus crash, members of the community of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) wanted to find a way to show their support for the Humboldt community.

A "small hockey community" with similarities to Humboldt, the impact was felt in Nova Scotia as much as it was across the country.

Three local radio stations came up with the "Capers for Humboldt Day" idea and it was scheduled for April 11th, 2018.

Four large banners with signatures and messsages of condolences were recently received at 107.5 Bolt FM. Words from the Mayor and other notable dignitaries and community members from the region were included.

Cape Breton area residents also brought forth hockey sticks to the radio teams to show their thoughts are with the Humboldt community and those affected by the tragedy.
