The deadline is fast approaching for the Children's Wish Foundation Lottery.

Every year the organization provides life changing experiences for kids dealing with illnesses.

Manager of Resource and Development Shelly Dodds recently talked about the wish a young Humboldt boy was granted.

"We grant wishes all over the province but we do have families out of Humboldt. One people might know is David Sweeney, he took his wish and got a camping trailer."

Dodds says the trailer option is a popular one for their Saskatchewan recipients but one destination is head and shoulders the most desired.

"In Saskatchewan we do often get the camping trailer wish because we have so many lakes, so many places to go in the summer to take advantage of that but often Disney World is our biggest one. Lots of families go down and stay at 'Give Kids the World' which is an entirely volunteer based theme park in itself."

This year they have simply went to a 50/50 lottery that has climbed to over $180,000 in total. The deadline is midnight on Wednesday.
