Humboldt and District Community Services gets their Community Inclusion Support Services dances underway this month.

The dances are held at St. Augustine Hall from 7-9pm.

Support Services Manager, Nicole Kinzel explained what the CISS program is, "my program is under the umbrella with social support and case management and resources for families for people with challenges."

Kinzel talked about why they started the dances.

"Basically we found that Humboldt needed some more opportunities for people so we started the dances as an inclusive and accessible social opportunity for people of all abilities."

Starting September 24th they will hold a dance on the last Thursday of each month.

Everyone is encouraged to take part said Kinzel, "we're inclusive for all types of people, anyone is welcome. Inparticular this September Humboldt and District Community Services is celebrating 15 years. it's our 15th anniversary so we are doing a special celerbation that night."

The cost is $5 per person or there is a family rate of $10.
