Sentencing will take place in March for Daniel Smith.

He was found guilty by a Prince Albert jury last week in the death of automated teller technician Roger Byer.

Smith claims he and Byer planned to meet and discuss a staged robbery together but Byer ended up dead near his truck face down in the snow.

His body wasn't found until three months after the alleged January 20th, 2010 meeting between the two men in the Yellow Creek area.

Smith will sentenced on March 31st in Prince Albert.
