On Tuesday, at the Lake Lenore bowling alley the Carrot River Watershed Authority is hosting an invasive weed management workshop.

Topics will include invasive weeds as a global threat, targeting grazing for weed control, Saskatchewan noxious and prohibited weed identification, plant mapping plus weed management planning.

Speakers attending are coming from organizations such as the Meewasin Valley Authority, Invasive Aliens Plants Group, Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre, the Provincial Ministry of Agriculture and Saskatchewan Invasive Species Council.

The event runs from 10am-4pm.
