Culture Days is back again for another year with events taking place on Friday and Saturday.

Jean Price from the Humboldt Museum and Gallery tells us a little more about the event.

"There's no admission. One of the mandates of Culture Days is that things be accessible, free, and interactive. So there's no charge for any of these events, everyone is welcome to come. They are mostly just 'come and go' events, even the concerts. You just sort of drop by, listen to the musicians for a while, maybe relax in the sun if it's a sunny day, come into the gallery and paint and listen to some music."

Price adds that the event is taking place in communities all across Canada.

"We would really like to thank SaskCulture who provides the bulk of the sponsorship for this. The writers union of Canada as well who are providing sponsorship for the Dave Margoshes reading, and the Friends of the Museum who provide funding for this as well."

Events taking place Friday include:

  • 1:00 - 5:00 pm: "From Many People's Strength" banner making at the Gallery.
