A gun that doesn't work was among the items stolen at a home on the Yellow Quill First Nation.

Kelvington-Rose Valley RCMP state that on October 4 between 9:00am and 9:00pm, suspects entered a home on the Yellow Quill First Nation through the basement.

Once inside, several items were stolen, including a .22 caliber rifle. The gun, however is non-functional.

Parts of the house were damaged, with the window used to enter being completely broken out.

An investigation is ongoing, and those who may be able to help police can contact the Kelvington-Rose Valley detachment, or Crime Stoppers.
