Environment Canada is confirming Saturday morning that four tornadoes touched down in the province on Friday but thankfully not much damage was reported.

The weather agency says there was one near the community of Quill Lake and one on the northwest shore of Quill Lake. There was also a touchdown near the Fishing Lake First Nation and one in the southern part of the province near Rocanville.

There was plenty of hail, some reportedly the size of a toonie in spots, and many funnel clouds were reported in the Humboldt area as well.

Don Williams sent this photo in, this was Friday afternoon about 12 kilometres north of Lanigan.

Dan Torwalt posted this picture, this was south of LeRoy Friday afternoon.
