The Humboldt Broncos have found a new Assistant General manager for the 2018-19 season.

It was announced on Wednesday that Luke Strueby will be taking over the duties of an assistant GM of the Broncos.

Strueby played with the Broncos from 2004-06, has scouted for the team on many occasions, and was the assistant coach for 1 year. It was about a week ago when Jason Neville resigned as the Assistant GM for the Broncos. Strueby said it just fell into place.

"I'm excited about it, I mean it's another role, I've had a lot of roles with the Broncos I guess in my life, it's a little more important and a little more in-depth role that I've had, so I'm looking forward to being a big part of it," said Strueby on how he felt.

The new Assistant GM will be responsible for recruiting players, involvement with player transactions, watching player outside of the province, and trading players. The Humboldt Broncos next game is tomorrow at the EPA.
