Fitzpatrick also explained how the silver collection works, and where the proceeds will go. "Well, the proceeds will be going to the Humboldt Soup Kitchen, and what a great way to put that money to use." Fitzpatrick continued, "We have a small box on the side of the building underneath a light, and we will empty it nightly and make tallies and come January, will be donating it the soup kitchen." Fitzpatrick explained the importance of being able to give back to such a great cause. "When people find out who the proceeds are going to, they just smile and say perfect, it's exactly what we hope to do as a group representing businesses in the city of Humboldt- be able to give back to causes such as this."

The Festival of Lights happens every year during the winter months and is a great way to enjoy some Christmas festivities, as well as donate to a very worthy cause.
