The annual light show at the Humboldt Campground has wrapped up for another year.

The Festival of Lights powered down on Sunday night, after lighting up the area every night since late November.

Each year, the Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce welcomes businesses and organizations to book a campsite to create their own holiday light display as part of the event.

The Chamber also allows a partnering organization to benefit from the display with a silver collection set up upon entry.

Chamber Executive Director Stacey Poss was pleased to present Big Brothers Big Sisters with a cheque for $1,330 from the six week display.

Jodie Hergott of BBBS says that the funds will be used to support their Game On program, which will be starting up in February.

Hergott says the program is designed to provide adolescent boys with information and support to make good informed choices about a range of healthy lifestyle practices.
