Police in Punnichy can put the lid on a lengthy search after a wanted suspect was arrested on Thursday.

Thirty-one year old Shane Wolfe was arrested on Thursday evening, over seven months after he and six others violently broke into a home on the Muskowekwan First Nation.

On January 17, the seven men used multiple weapons to bust into the home, damage property and a vehicle. The rampage sent two men to hospital.

Wolfe was the last of the suspects still on the loose.

He was arrested on charges that include:

  • three counts of break and enter and commit an indictable offense
  • three counts of mischief and property damage
  • possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an indictable offense

In total, 59 charges were laid against the seven men.

Wolfe made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Friday.
