A fire ban issued in October for all Crown land south of Highway 16 in the province has been lifted once again.

It was the second time the ban had been issued, with another coming over the summer due to dry conditions.

The recent ban was put in place on October 19, but has been lifted with cooler temperatures and snow in many areas across the province.

The province reports there are no active provincial fire bans in Saskatchewan, though that could change more locally, as well as at regional and national parks.

You are advised to check with local authorities on the status in your area.
