It was a hot Friday afternoon when the First Annual Eat Together Day was in action.

Terry Lehoux, manager of Humoldt’s No Frills, said, “I have enough burgers and hotdogs for a thousand people, so hopefully we can sell out.”

The proceeds from the Annual Eat Together Day barbeque will be donated to the Humboldt and District First Responders.

“It’s designed to bring people together around good food and I thought what better to have a barbeque and support our first responders.”

When asked about the future Eat Together Day barbeques Lehoux replied, “Well, every year we’ll try to help out multiple organizations throughout the year, this is our first one as Terry’s No Frills and we’ll see who needs it next year.”
