On Wednesday, the Humboldt and District Gallery is hosting Marie Saretsky, as she demonstrates book making.

"We're going to be making books with Marie. She's going to be bringing in a variety of different materials involving plants, petals, leaves, maybe even some glitter," says Nicole Myker, Cultural Programmer at the Gallery.

From 6:00 to 8:00pm, those looking to expand their horizons in the arts community are invited to the event at a cost of ten dollars.

"We're going to be making covers for the books, as well as folding paper inside to make the accordion," Myker continued. "You can bring on your talents, and put it all into the book."

She added that it's important to hold different events open to the public so that people can experience things they may never have access to otherwise.

"It allows the community to come together and spread your wings, develop different art styles that you never knew you had that you might have, and also to develop different interests in a variety of different arts."

You can register for the event by calling the gallery at 682-5226.
