Every year the grade seven class at Humboldt Public School has the opportunity to travel to Shekinah, SK, for the year-end class trip.

This year's grade seven students decided to plan, organize and host a Mother's Day-themed fundraiser.

"Bring your moms and come spend some time together!" says Clara Layfield, 12.

On Sunday, May 6th, between 1 pm and 4 pm, the students will be selling plants, ranging in price from $1-8 and tea, muffins, and crafts will be sold as well to help cover some costs of their upcoming trip.

Everyone (moms and non-moms!) is invited to attend to help support this year's grade seven class.

"If you're looking to support the school and get a nice plant for spring, come on down!", says Principal Clayton Parobec.
