The Kelvington RCMP had a busy long weekend in Greenwater Provincial Park.

From Thursday to Saskatchewan Day Monday the detachment, along with the Rose Valley station received 45 calls for service.

Among them was 14 for traffic tickets, three impaired driving charges, a pair of motor vehicle thefts, a forcible confinement charge plus an assault offence.

They also noted a domestic dispute in the RM of Sasman that involved the firing of a gun. Thankfully nobody was hurt but a man was taken into custody.

Their busiest day was Saturday when the Mounties responded to 16 calls.
