As harvest progress across the province, steady movement is being made at CJD Buhs Farms south of Watson.

Like most farms, the Buhs farm has plenty of history, according to Calvin Buhs.

"We have three generations. My dad is retired. My son will take over the third generation," he said. "This isn't our original Buhs homestead, but this is my dad's farm."

The Buhs homestead is located at Romance, which is 14 kilometres southwest of Watson.

Calvin's son Devin says that with many farmers dealing with excess moisture and grain prices, they will concern themselves with that later.

"It's as steady as she goes, we will figure it out when we are done."

He added that despite at times heavy rain, they continue to be able to get out in the field.

"Very good so far," he explained. "Just recently (the rain) has (slowed progress down), but we should be good to go right away."

The Buhs family farms 13,000 acres.

In Saskatchewan Agriculture's Weekly Crop Report issued on Thursday, the Humboldt area was reported to have 22% of harvest complete.

The Buhs' were the weekly winner for Bolt FM's 'Meal in the Field'. You can see more on that here.
