The Humboldt District Hospital Foundation has announced plans for their Friends "FORE" Health Care Charity Scramble.

Executive Director Lorrie Bunko spills the beans on the event.

"This year we are very excited to announce that we are partnering with Evergreen Country Home in LeRoy and were hosting the Friends 'FORE' Health Care Charity Scramble at the Creek Golf Club on September 10th."

The HDHF has a number of larger fundraisers every year including their golf tournament which Bunko says is important to them because they get to spread the wealth per say.

"It's very important to us this event, we get to partner with like organizations whether it be long-term care, acute care facilities and host this event. We put it on, spread the word about the importance of health care in our community and split the proceeds from the event 50/50."

Registrations are now open, call 682-4450 to sign up or email hdhf@sasktel.net

The entry fee is $60 which gets you 18 holes of golf and supper plus a chance to win some prizes.

"Mark your calendar, if you want to come out and have a great time, enjoy 18 holes of golf, win some fabulous prizes, we can't wait to release what some of our prizes are," Bunko boasted.

"It's going to be a great day," she promised.

They are also looking for sponsors, if you are interested contact their office.
