A hearing is expected to wrap up today regarding the future of former Englefeld teacher Desi Zimmerman.

Allegations against Zimmerman, who is no longer employed by the Englefeld Protestant Separate School Division stem back to 2004.

A now 31 year-old victim was on the witness stand for five hours yesterday rehashing a number of incidents to a disciplinary board of the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation.

Upon completion of the hearing which is expected to be Friday the committee sitting before the case will then provide a penalty recommendation to the Professional Ethics Committee if they find him guilty of any wrong doing.

Zimmerman would then have a chance to appeal any decision regarding his teaching license.

There is no timeline for a decision.

No charges have been laid by the RCMP.
