Three people are facing charges after a high speed chase from Saskatoon ended near Watrous.

On July 25, police spotted the stolen vehicle at around 1:00pm in the city. 

Multiple attempts were made to stop the vehicle, which escaped while travelling at high speeds.

Two of the three suspects left the vehicle near Clavet, while the third individual continued down the highway.

With help of the Air Support Unit, the vehicle was tracked near Watrous, with the 38-year-old driver being arrested.

Two sawed off firearms and ammunition were also recovered by police.

Michael Basaraba, Dana Blackie and Jennafer Lane face numerous firearms and stolen property charges.

The trio will appear in court on Thursday.
