Construction is continuing 14 kilometres north of Humboldt, as work on Highway 20 is ongoing.

Due to flooding in the area, crews are working to raise the grade of the road at Dead Moose Lake.

Traffic is down to one lane, and the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure has confirmed that will be the case until construction is complete.

Assistant Communications Director Paul Spasoff noted that there are no plans to close both lanes at any point during construction.

A light set is on location for when flagpersons are not at the scene throughout the evening.

The majority of work on the area will wrap up by the end of November, with the remainder of work being complete next construction season.

Spasoff reminded drivers to stay up to date with the Highway Hotline before heading out.
