The Horizon School Division is warning parents and the public about a "suspicious incident" in Watrous last week.

In a letter to parents Monday, the report said an elementary school student was walking home just past 4 o'clock Friday when she walked by a newer silver four door car with two teenagers in it. They told the student to get in, she didn't oblige and continued home and reported the incident to her parents.

They contacted the Watrous RCMP.

The suspects are described as a short brown haired male and a girl wearing a bright pink sweater.

The HSD is reminding parents and staff at their schools to keep stranger safety at a premium with all their students.
