Caleb Village residents got a special visit from Humboldt Public School students Friday afternoon.

The visit, part of a Random Acts of Kindness Campaign being ran by the HPS, included an hour long session filled with card games, pool, shuffle board, as well as puzzles.

A pair of HPS students had this to say on the experience.

"It makes us feel good to give back to the community."

"It feels good to make you think you've made a difference in someone's life."

The students also shared what they hope to learn during the campaign.

"Just to be more selfless than selfish, and try to give back and help out other people when they need it."

"To think about others more than yourself."

This isn't the first Random Act of Kindness the students have completed.

Earlier in the school year, the students also walked dogs and cleaned cages at Humboldt SPCA.
