The Humboldt & District Community Services is ringing in the new year by looking back at 2018.

In 2018 the Humboldt and District Community Services held the 18th Annual Summer Program, the Community Work Crew, the Outreach Initiative, and much more.

For 2019 the Humboldt and District Community Services plan to start a new employment initiative known as the Enhanced Career Bridging Program.

"This program will go to benefit those who are unemployed and underemployed to better connect them to the labour market and to secure long-term employment opportunities," said Juanine Korte, Executive Director of the HDCS.

The first session of the new initiative takes place at the start of February and takes as long as 12 weeks to complete.
