Every cent from your morning coffee purchase at Tim Horton's on Wednesday will help give a fun weekend to local kids.

Tim Horton's locations across Canada are set to take part in Camp Day.

Morgan Grywacheski, co-owner of the Humboldt chain says that they started fundraising a couple weeks ago with bracelets, but those are already gone.

"We're just going to be selling our coffee as usual, and 100 per cent of the coffee sales will go to the camp day and we had bracelets, however, we're sold out because Humboldt is such a generous community."

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Camp Day, which has seen over $150-million raised for more than 237,000 kids.

Grywacheski noted that even though there are thousands of Tim Horton's establishments across the country, kids in the Humboldt area still benefit.

"Every year we get to send two local kids from Humboldt and area to camp day in Kananaskis, Alberta."

Other camps are in Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Quebec, two in Ontario and even one in Kentucky.

"I think it's just an awesome experience, these are kids that wouldn't usually get an opportunity to do such a great thing," Grywacheski said on being able to help send kids for a getaway. "They get life experience, they get to build on their confidence and it overall just gets to help them mature into an adult."

For those who aren't coffee drinkers, Grywacheski added that donations are accepted as well.
