That time of year again where the Humboldt campground and mini golf course are open for another year.

The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce runs both the Mini-Golf and campground.

Acting Executive Director of the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce Colleen Foster describes what the campground has to offer.

"We have 22 sites that accomodate all from tents to 40-foot trailers. We have 30-amp and 50-amp sites, full-service washroom, access to water and sewer, and inside we have a large range of tourism brochures that cover all of Canada as well as many local attractions."

Foster explains what the mini-golf course is all about.

"Our 18-hole mini-golf is suitable for all ages. It features local businesses with varying levels of difficulty and we have several historical sites. We have the water tower, we have the Humboldt Museum and a nice display by the German heritage society."

Foster also says the campground and mini-golf is reasonably priced.

"We are open 7 days a week starting on May 20th, from 9 AM to 8PM. Our campsite fees start at $23 a night for tenting and $30 a night for electrical sites. We also have weekly, monthly and seasonal rates. And our mini golf is very reasonable, it's only $4 a person, 4 and under are free, and we also have group and family rates for that as well."

The campground is open until October Long weekend, weather permitting.
