The District Museum and Gallery put on Humboldt Culture days last weekend.

From September 28th to September 30th, Culture days was celebrated by the citizens of Humboldt at the Uniplex.

Humboldt's Mayor, Rob Muench, proclaimed Culture Days at the last council meeting. The reason the celebration is put on is to celebrate the vibrant art and culture that Humboldt contributes directly to society.

"We work with community groups so the funding comes from Sask Culture and we work with community groups that are interested in presenting, so if anyone is interested in performing next year, they can certainly get in contact with us," said Jennifer Fitzpatrick, director of cultural services in Humboldt on next year's Culture days.

Culture days is a national presentation on the last weekend in September all across Canada as Humboldt has taken part for the past 5 years.

People enjoyed activities at the Uniplex, such as model engineering, multicultural art, Pysanky art, and much more throughout the weekend.
