With an overload of felt on hand, the Humboldt and District Gallery is inviting you to make some spring time art on Saturday.

They will be offering a Felt Art Program, which will run from 1pm to 4:30pm.

"There is some cool spring time felt scenes they could make," said Cultural Programmer Leah Terry. "We want you to get as creative as possible in making spring time scenes with felt."

Stopping in at the gallery to create art is also a great opportunity to view art, and take in the exhibits they have on display.

"Those who haven't been to the gallery before, certainly they can create a craft and then take a look at the art here in the gallery. We just want to open up the world of art to everyone," she explained.

While they are currently providing events that are more for families, anyone is welcome to take part and experience the wide variety of craft days.

"We will be doing some programs that will be geared more towards teenagers in the summer. Certainly they are welcome to come out now and try them out, but right now the programs we are doing on Saturday's are geared towards families."

Throughout the month of May, programs continue with art critique nights, creative calligraphy, a big bert dinosaur craft program, a metal wire workshop, and a night photography session.
