The Humboldt Army Cadets had their Annual Ceremonial Review on Wednesday night.

This year's ACR was the last for Conry Hessdorfer, who says he has come along way during his time with the Cadets.

"Cadets has helped me a lot with my leadership abilities and like the captain said before, I was very shy and quiet when I first joined, and now I feel more confident when I'm in charge of a group."

The ACR concludes a successful year for the Army Cadets, and new comer Jordan Scorfe explains there is a lot to do during a year with the cadets.

"There's a lot of fun stuff happening like ACR that happened tonight and there's another camp coming up in May on the long weekend."

The Humboldt Cadet Corps also celebrated a 58th successful year. Since reforming in January of 1959, the Humboldt Cadets has taught basic military training to teens from 12 to 19 years of age.

Dawson Mollenbeck is also celebrating his final year with the cadets, and he recalls fond travel memories with the Cadets.

"My first year in cadets, I got the opportunity to go to Ontario with another cadet corp in Wadena. And I got to got see Niagara Falls and London Ontario."

The Annual Ceremonial Review was held at the Humboldt Legion Hall.
