With Kinsmen Telemiracle getting set for another year the local Kinettes Club is preparing for a trio of events to raise funds.

Their first event is coming up Friday night at the Bella Vista Inn with a steak night and karaoke party.

Member Carol Pratt says it's always a fun night out.

"Tickets are $20 each, you can get them at the Bella Vista Inn front desk or you can call or text myself at 306-231-8970. There is going to be 50/50's, raffle prizes, it's always a really fun night."

Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

The group has a couple events scheduled for February including a partnership with the local fire department.

"We are going to be having a ladder lift at Sobey's on Saturday, February 13th from 10am until noon," Pratt explained. "We are going to try raise the ladder as high as it will go and we will have different members of the community and the Kinettes on the ladder and you just buy a step. Every step you buy, we go higher."

Later in February they will be hosting a pancake breakfast with the Knights of Columbus to boost the funds that they will present on the Sunday morning of the annual telethon.

"We will be making our on air presentation on Sunday, March 6th at Telemiracle sometime between 8-9am so watch for ladies in pink," beamed Pratt.

This year the annual fundraiser is one hour longer and more "Saskatchewaner" than ever to help celebrate the 40th year.
