Progress is continuing at Kelvindell Lodge in Kelvington.

The Kelsey Trail Health Region said the main entrance at the facility was reopened last Thursday afternoon.

The section of the Lodge was closed on October 5th to accommodate renovations at the long term care facility.

Access to Kelvindell was rerouted through the Kelvington and Area Hospital during the upgrades.

Once finished the integrated facility will have 45 long-term care beds, seven acute care beds, seven multi-purpose clinic rooms plus a family room.

The final phase of renovations, which includes the southeast wing of the long-term care facility, is expected to be complete by spring 2017.
