Over 100 vendors will be lined up inside Jubilee Hall on Sunday, as the Humboldt and District Kinettes host their 27th Annual Fall Craft Show and Marketplatz.

Karen Fleischhacker with the Kinettes explains how the event started.

"We knew that the area here did not have an annual craft show, or showcase as such. We decided years ago that we would start up a craft show. We have a craft show set up for that many years, and it has been our one major great fundraiser for all these years."

Admission is free for the event, with a silver collection open to donations at the entrance. Doors will open at 11:00am, with the show concluding at 4:30pm.

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, Fleischhacker says you will be able to find plenty of gift ideas.

"We have lots of home based businesses, as well as crafts. There's also going to be a children's area, dedicated to just children. Things that maybe they would like to purchase with the help of their parents, something that they would maybe like to give as a gift themselves. Lots of gift ideas are going to be at the craft show."

She added that the success of the show has allowed them to continuously give back to the community over the years.

"We raise a couple thousand or more every year, and that money is then set aside, or put into our account so we can help others in need."

Following the craft show, the Kinettes will look forward to once again helping out those in need within the area as their Christmas Cheer campaign enters it's 31st year.
