The LeRoy Wildlife Federation is set to host their annual awards banquet and dance Saturday night at the Wildlife Hall.

Rob Bernauer the president of the LeRoy branch explains how the awards are given out.

"Anyone that has a membership who happened to get a big elk, or moose, or deer we give them a trophy."

The doors open at 5 o'clock and supper will be served at 6:00pm.

There is a dance to follow as well as a midnight lunch.

The event will also have silent auction and raffle tables.

The money raised will go towards the upkeep of the hall and Bernauer tells us about the other areas the money will go towards:

"We pumped the trout pond full of water and we're going to do restocking. So we will need to put quite a few fish in there. It's going to be quite a bit of an expense this year to get the population back up."
