As students are wrapping up another school year, the staff at Humboldt Reid-Thompson Public Library are preparing for a summer of fun and reading.

The library is part of a nation-wide summer reading venture called the TD Summer Reading Club. The program has been implemented in more than 2000 libraries across the country.

At the Humboldt branch, weekly Book Club meetings will start Friday, June 29th at 1 pm, and are open to children, ages 3 and up.

Branch Librarian, Michael Langhorst, says they have upcoming Storytime with Kate events, and Lego, game, crafts, demos and science days planned for the summer months.

"Come and read as much as you can! We'll have new programs every week," says Langhorst.

Registration for the programs will take place Tuesday, June 26th at 7 pm.
