Two local boys, Finlay Hart and Kazley Natlazo, have been selected to represent Saskatchewan at Club Nationals in Fredericton this fall.

With this big opportunity comes a big need for fundraising.

Hart and Natlazo both play on an under-17 club team in Saskatoon so most of the fundraising takes place out of town. Parent Elvircia Natlazo tells us of some of the events coming up.

"With each player, they have to at least budget for about $1500 to $2000. With it being a Saskatoon team, most of these events will be in Saskatoon. on August 12, there will be a bottle drive in Saskatoon, and on August 9 we'll do a car wash at the Warman Auto Source."

Natlazo adds how one can help with the fundraising.

"They can give us a call, either myself or Janine or if they want to go there is a drop and go account at SARCAN. We do have the account information."

Parent Janine Hart explains more about their background and how they got where they are now.

"It's been quite the journey for both the boys having to start off their soccer careers here in Humboldt as 7 and 8-year-olds. They have progressed and they are reaching their goals. They are both now training with the Astro Soccer Academy in Saskatoon."

Those wanting to donate towards their bottle drive on August 12 can do so by calling Janine at 231 6653, or Elvircia at 682 4277, or by going to any SARCAN and asking the proceeds to be donated to Saskatoon North PSL U17 team account. Instructions are as follows:
