Normally student athletes have less time for school assignments as it is.

But if you're Logan Saretsky, add hours of combining as well as a part time job.

Saretsky takes us through an average school day.

"Well, with grain harvest and football season, it's get up at 7 in the morning, get ready for school, be in town for 9 o'clock. Go to class, then after school, practice until 5:30 on the field, and then generally it's head straight home and hop in the field and help Dad out."

The Grade 12 student from HCI explains what his plan is for next year.

"I plan on going into a trade, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, and I also thought about staying home and helping Dad on the farm."

Help is on the way for Saretsky's schedule, as he says harvest is nearing completion on the farm.

"We got about a quarter of barley left, and half of a quarter of wheat, and if it quits raining, hopefully we'll be done by this weekend."

When Saretsky isn't at school, in the field, or in the combine, he works at Humboldt Canadian Tire.
