In times of sorrow, we are often told the best thing to do is spend time with others.  Saturday night people in Humboldt were doing just that.

We met Braeden Brockman and his group of friends at Boston Pizza as they spent time crying, laughing and remember their lost friends.

"A lot of us played with these players, and a lot of us grew up and went to school with them.  There were bus trips all the time with the team, so everyone who has played hockey in Humboldt has experienced this".

The feeling of loss and shock is dominating right now.

"It's all surreal.  Nobody can believe that this actually happened.  It's just crazy".

Braeden says staying together was an important part of their time on Saturday night

"We're all here together as a big group, we are all grieving for sure and we're just trying to remember all the great memories that we had with these guys that passed.
