The price of gasoline is at the lowest Humboldt has seen in over a decade.

Hovering around the 70 cents mark, many are wondering when the honeymoon will end.

Dan McTeague, Senior Petroleum Analyst with gasbuddy.com, says low prices are being enjoyed across the province.

"Unfortunately we are going to start to see prices increase although I don't expect that to happen overnight, I think it's a safe bet that by Tuesday or Wednesday you may start to see prices trickling back up towards the 74-76 cents range."

McTeague adds the price of gasoline will likely stay below the 85 cent range for a few weeks, "unless there are some pretty major turn around in both the demand picture in Canada and the United States."

Prices are expected to stay low for at least the next six weeks which brings us to the end of March.
