With Christmas Day rapidly approaching, many already have plans for how they want to celebrate the annual holiday.

On Sunday afternoon, the Village of Middle Lake is inviting you to join them for a celebration as they hold a Christmas family fun skate.

From 2:00 to 5:00, you are invited to hit the ice at the Middle Lake Rink, while enjoying Christmas music, candy, hot chocolate, games and plenty more. There will also be horse and sleigh rides.

Santa Claus will also be on location for 60 minutes as he prepares for his annual tour of duty on Thursday night. He will be taking photo opportunities from 2:30 to 3:30.

They advise that no sticks are allowed, as it is simply a skate, and helmets must be worn be all skaters.
